2018 / mq 130 / The first Cat Bistro in Rome, reinterprets the classical concept of Japanese Neko to become a sophisticated vegan bistro. The first rule was to avoid saturating the place with references to the feline world. Except for a print of a lion in an Adidas tracksuit, the Bistro looks more like a warm and cozy apartment than a zoo. After all, the natural habitat of a cats is a house. In this project I wanted to give an adequate context to the refined and elaborate menu offer of the Romeow Cat Bistrot. Cats are not the heart of the place, but just an element of companionship that warms up the customer’s experience.
